Dance Machines

There are two major brands of dance machines that are popular in SL venues.  The most prevalent is INTAN.  You'll see INTAN dance machines in the shape of a RED HEART, as well as other shapes and sizes.

The other popular brand is TIS (Together In Spirit)   You will sometimes see BOTH brands at clubs, loaded with different dances.
We use TIS as our SWING Venue Dance Machine

Note that dance machines come in COUPLES, and SINGLES versions, with the Singles available in MALE or FEMALE versions.   2Ldance.org is focused on Couples Dancing in SL, and so our coverage is focused on COUPLES dances and dance machines.

Dance HUDs

Dance HUDs (Heads Up Displays) are downloaded to your Inventory, and WORN like clothes.  The HUD appears in your viewer window, usually in the upper-right corner.
You can Right-click-EDIT the HUD and move it to another location.

Once the correct HUD is loaded, you can click the HUD to change dances or re-synch, instead of having to click the dance machine.
