YdilleMy first piece of Ydille magic was the Photo Frame from her store on SL Marketplace.
Then a showering of goodies from her 10L goodie bag (she loves giving stuff away!) Then some serious development work. I needed to have our Info Panels follow along with the dance class. Changing them manually each time was a pain. How could this be accomplished? Initially we looked at the Intan Dance Machine to control things. Ydille tried to envision panel that would listen to the dance machine's VERBOSE function. Even Cecilia Zheng got involved. But there were many issues... and it was a dead end. Then, we looked into the Parcel Music Stream text. I got a Jenstech Stream Board that will shout the stream text in open chat. Ydille has created a Listening Texture Changer panel that, along with a variable delay to synchronize with stream delay, makes the linkage synch perfectly. The effect is easy to control through the music stream, and... It is MAGICAL! Thank you Ydille!! |
Dance 101 Voice Talent:

QuandoCoeliQuando has a RL background in broadcasting, telecasting, public relations and voiceover work. He is a RL friend and past co-worker with Carlyle Chaparral. Quan is new to SL, but jumped at the opportunity to add his vocal "pipes" to the 2LDance cause. He recorded the fixed voice comments that are part of our track changes, where basic information about the next dance is provided over the background sound of our jingle music. The result sounds professional and sophisticated. We hope to use Quan on our future classes as well. Thank you, Quando!

Cecilia Zheng, creator of Intan Eksotics She has such a "make it happen" attitude. She was even willing to discuss custom changes to her Intan Couples Dance Machine when we were exploring how to use it in our 2Ldance systems. That she would take time to work with me on this... was very impressive. Thank you, Ceclila... your Intan Dance Machine remains the focal point for our class experience. |
